Man lands up in hospital after road rage incident

Johannesburg - A 65-year-old man was left in a critical condition after road rage incident at Effingham,  north of Durban on Friday evening. 

In a statement Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenen said the man was assaulted in the alleged road rage incident.

He said Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on scene shortly after 6pm to find the man slumped over the steering wheel of his car, having suffered serious facial injury after allegedly being assaulted with a glass tumbler. 

"The man was stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care. The scene was handed over to the police for investigation," he said.
