Man left to die on field - paramedics

Durban – A man was shot and left to die on a field on Saturday, paramedics said.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was left in a field in Muvhango Extension 14 in Bophelong, ER24 paramedics said.

ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, said medics found that the man had sustained several gunshot wounds to his chest and arms and was in a critical condition.

The man was transported to the nearest hospital but died before he could get help.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
