Man stabbed to death at Eastern Cape village tavern

Johannesburg – Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of murder after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in Willowvale.

Two men were drinking beer at a tavern in Dadamba village around 18:30 on Tuesday evening, Captain Jackson Manatha said on Wednesday. 

"It is believed that a misunderstanding happened between the two, when the one got stabbed in his upper body."

The man was rushed to hospital, where he died. No arrest had been made.
