Polokwane - Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for a trio crime syndicate who have evaded arrest since they were cornered by the police at Jane Furse near Lebowakgomo on Wednesday.

Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said police were responding to a tip-off from members of the community about a trio crime syndicate who are terrorising members of the community in the area.
Ngoepe said the syndicate is linked to two motor vehicles which were reported stolen at Sekhukhune and Pretoria.
He said keys of different motor vehicles, an appointment certificate of a police officer, two RSA ID cards, bank cards belonging to different people, fraudulent vehicle documents, four laptops, a tablet, fraudulent documents for various vehicles, a bank card producing machine, bank statements, police dockets and a bank card swiping device were recovered during the operation.
