Missing Sebokeng three-year-old's body found

Johannesburg - The body of a three-year-old girl who was reported missing in Sebokeng was found on Monday afternoon, Gauteng police said.

"Today [Monday] around 14:30 the child body was found with her clothes lying next to her body," Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said.

"Police are investigating a case of murder and possible rape."

The child was reported missing on Sunday.

The girl lived with her mother in Zone 13 of Sebokeng.

Police have appealed to the community for any information that could lead to an arrest.
