A 50-year-old warrant officer and a 40-year-old constable from the Moroka Police Station were shot on Wednesday in Dobsonville, Soweto, after an alleged gang chase. WATCH

Cape Town - Police in Moroka, Soweto, are concerned about a missing colleague, fearing he may have been kidnapped.

Police spokesperson Mpande Khoza said Hamlet Ngudumane was last seen on Friday around 18:00 after a colleague's farewell party in Protea Glen.

He left saying he was going to drop colleagues in Lehae, but he never returned.

''We suspect that he has been hijacked and kidnapped,'' said Khoza.

His phoned was also switched off.

He was driving an old model grey Audi convertible.

Anybody with information is asked to contact their nearest police station or call 0795251491, said Khoza.
