MPs to discuss US election results

Cape Town – Parliament's international relations and co-operation committee is on Wednesday expected to discuss the impact of the US elections on South Africa’s foreign policy.

The committee will meet members of the South African Council on International Relations.

Republican Donald Trump pulled off a shock victory in the US elections, beating Democrat Hillary Clinton last week. He will be sworn in as the 45th US president on January 20.

The billionaire property mogul has yet to outline his policy on Africa.
