Mpumalanga cop in court for rhino horn dealing

Johannesburg - A Mpumalanga police officer will appear before the Badplaas Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for alleged dealing in rhino horn, the Hawks said.

The 39-year-old constable was linked to suspects who were arrested for alleged possession of rhino horn in Badplaas on April 5, Lieutenant Dineo Sekgotodi said.

The officer allegedly used a state vehicle to take the suspects to meet buyers for the horn.
