Pietermaritzburg - The missing car of murdered Pietermaritzburg pharmacy owner Morgan Naidoo was found at the weekend in Bulwer.

Naidoo was found dead last Monday at the roadside near Lynnfield Park after he went missing two weeks ago.

He was found with two bullet wounds to the head with police believing he had been shot execution-style where he was found.

It remains unclear what happened to Naidoo between the time he went missing on Thursday two weeks ago and when he was found last Monday.

He was last seen leaving the Absa bank on Chatterton Road at about midday on the Thursday. He had been driving his white Hyundai H100 bakkie at the time.

It is believed, according to a police source who spoke on condition that he not be named, that Naidoo had drawn a sum of about R4 000 from the bank before he went missing.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane said that the Hyundai H100 bakkie was recovered at Bulwer area by Provincial Task Team police.

“The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made,” said Zwane.
