Kimberley – A Northern Cape man has been arrested for allegedly dealing in drugs, police said on Wednesday.

Lieutenant Sergio Kock said the man was arrested on Tuesday following information regarding drug sales at a house in Green Valley Cilliers, in Kakamas.

Police found 467 Mandrax tablets, 32g of tik, a substantial amount of money and a number of empty plastic sachets.

The estimated street value of the seized drugs was R30 000, said Kock.

The man would appear in the Kakamas Magistrate's Court soon.
