Pietermaritzburg – A pedestrian was killed when he was hit
by a car during stormy weather in Pietermaritzburg on Monday evening,
paramedics said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed on the N3
near the Church Street off-ramp, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
His body was found on the barriers in the centre median. He
had multiple fatal injuries.
The driver escaped without any injuries.
