Police nab woman with Mandrax worth R500 000

Grahamstown – A 48-year-old woman was arrested in possession of Mandrax with an estimated street value of R500 000 on Saturday, police said.

Captain Mali Govender said a total of 4 107 Mandrax tablets were seized.

The woman was travelling on a bus from Pretoria to Port Elizabeth. 

Govender said the arrest took place at 09:00 on Saturday morning.

The woman is expected to appear before the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court soon.
