President Ramaphosa does it again

President Cyril Ramaphosa has the people of the Republic falling love with him for his early morning walks. Who knew a light brisk walk could get so much interest?

His morning walks has had the country talking and taking a keen interest to join him. On Friday the president took to twitter to announce that he will be walking again, this time in Soweto. 

“Good afternoon, I am encouraged by the positive response from many South Africans joining my morning walks and even starting their own walks in their communities. I invite those who can, to join me in Soweto tomorrow morning ahead of my voter registration drive this weekend.” he announced on Twitter.

On Wednesday the residents of Khayelitsha, in Cape Town had the pleasure of joining the president on one of his early morning walks according to EWN. Geared up in their running shoes and active wear, they were up before sunrise eager to join him.

The people braved the early morning chill to have their chance walking with the president. While walking on the streets of Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain, covering a six-kilometer stretch the residents took the opportunity to raise various issues.
