Pupils from across Pretoria protest at Girls' High

Pretoria - Pupils from schools in Atteridgeville and Mamelodi and reportedly some from city schools Pro Arte, Clapham and DSG are protesting outside the Pretoria High School for girls to show support against the alleged racism at the school.

The school's own pupils were not allowed to join the protest.

Pupils from other schools blocked traffic in front of the school.

There is a heavy police presence at the school gate and City Press tweeted that some girls' cellphones were confiscated.
