Cape Town - A dog that was flung off a fourth-floor balcony in Ravensmead, Cape Town, by its owner in June is ready for adoption.
The three-month-old pup was ready for a home, as long as his new family got him all his shots, SPCA spokesperson Belinda Abraham said on Monday.
"He got his first immunisations, but we make sure dogs get three shots before their quarantine is lifted," Abraham told Netwerk24.
The dog broke a leg and sustained brain damage in the fall. He now has an eye twitch.

The SPCA would open a case of animal abuse against the owner as soon as they got one outstanding affidavit.
They had already received calls from people wanting to adopt the dog, she said. Anyone who would like to give it a new home could call the SPCA’s adoption centre on 021 700 4152.
