Grahamstown – Eastern Cape police have arrested two people and seized R400 000 worth of mandrax tablets while conducting a vehicle check on Wednesday afternoon, police said. 

The two, a man and a woman aged, 50 and 25 where stopped at Raglan road in Grahamstown, Captain Mali Govender said.  

On searching the vehicle, a bag containing four packets filled with mandrax tablets was found.

The suspects will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrate’s Court soon for possession of drugs.
