Johannesburg - Disgraced estate agent Vicki Momberg, who faces eight charges of crimen injuria, might enter into a plea agreement with the State.
Momberg was filmed making racial slurs at a black police officer after he and a white police officer attempted to help her following a smash-and-grab incident in Northriding in Johannesburg earlier this year.
Momberg appeared briefly in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
She originally faced four charges of crimen injuria and four more charges of crimen injuria were added to her charge sheet.
One of the officers has also approached the South African Human Rights Commission.
State prosecutor Yusuf Baba told the court that the State is ready to proceed with the trial.
Momberg's attorney Nardus Grové said they may enter into a plea and sentence agreement with the State.
However, the defence will have to submit Momberg's psychologist report before any agreement is submitted.
The matter was postponed until October 18.
Momberg is the second estate agent to face racism-related charges this year.
In June, the Umzinto Equality Court fined Penny Sparrow R150 000 for calling black beachgoers celebrating New Year's Day in Durban monkeys.
