'Rapist' nabbed for allegedly abducting three kids

Durban – A 40-year-old man was arrested for human trafficking, abduction, rape and violating the Immigration Act, after he allegedly abducted three children, the Hawks said.

The Swaziland national allegedly abducted three children aged 5, 7 and 13 in Swaziland last year, Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo said.

A case was opened at Mbabane and the docket was handled by Interpol. 

Mhlongo said while he was in South Africa he allegedly repeatedly raped and impregnated the 13-year-old girl.

The children were rescued last week and put in a place of safety. 

He would appear in the Durban Regional Court on Friday.
