SABC journalist survives Limpopo shooting

Limpopo - An SABC journalist escaped an attempted armed robbery unscathed at Rotterdam Village in Limpopo after coming face to face with gunmen on Thursday.

Pimani Baloyi said she was driving towards a bridge in the village when gunmen jumped into the road and leveled barrels of guns at her.

Baloyi evaded the highwaymen by quickly putting the car into reverse and speeding backwards to safety.

As she did this, one of the men fired a shot which hit the car. She escaped unhurt.
