Distraught parents of a three-year-old girl are offering a R30 000 reward for any information that leads to the safe return of the toddler.

According to East Coast Radio, Little Siphesihle Dlamini went missing during a New Year’s Eve church service in Amandawe, in the Silengeni Ward, Durban.

The tot was wearing a pink dress with stripes at the time of her disappearance.

"The three-year-old child reported missing at Amandawe, in the Silengeni area is still missing. The police continue looking for the child,” Local police officer, Thembeka Mbhele says.

“We also appeal to the community - whoever has knowledge of the child's whereabouts to please contact police, Umzinto Child Protection or contact the Crimestop number.”

Her heartbroken father, Mxolisi Ngwane says the family has hired a private investigator and is hopeful that they will find the little girl.

"There is a private investigator involved and we have met with him. She's been missing since the beginning of the year,” says Mxolisi.

“It's [hard] for the family but we are hanging in there because of the support and all the prayers.”

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the little girl, please contact Siphesihle’s father on: 084 955 5887
