Second leg of Grayston bridge collapse inquiry to continue this week

Johannesburg  The second leg of the inquiry into the collapse of the Grayston Drive pedestrian bridge, which killed two people, will begin on May 6.

The first session allowed those involved in the project – construction company, Murray & Roberts; scaffolding supplier, Form Scaff, and engineering consultancy firm, Royal HaskoningDHV  to outline their involvement in the project.

A driver of a minibus taxi and a man in a Toyota Fortuner were killed. 

The bridge over the M1 at Grayston Drive collapsed on October 14 last year.
