Taxi marshall gunned down in JHB

Cape Town – A queue marshal was shot dead at a minibus taxi rank in central Johannesburg on Friday morning, Gauteng police said.

The man, 37, had been busy at the back of the taxis when an unidentified man approached him, said Captain Kay Makhubela.

He shot the marshal six times in the upper body at close range.

The shooter was on the run.
