Three people were left injured on Sunday evening when a train collided with their vehicle at the Ferreira Crossing in Bloemfontein, Free State, according to ER24

ER24 paramedics, along with Life Healthcare and provincial services, arrived on the scene at 18:00 and found the light motor vehicle crushed against the front of the train.

The three men in the vehicle already got out and were walking around at the scene.

Paramedics assessed the driver and two passengers who had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.

They were treated for their injuries and subsequently transported to nearby provincial hospitals.
