Three people robbed, truck set alight in Cape Town

A truck driver and two passengers were robbed when they stopped to remove stones in Potsdam Road, Cape Town, before the truck that they had travelled in was set alight on Thursday.

Western Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said three unknown suspects robbed the three people at gunpoint. 

Cases of armed robbery and malicious damage to property are expected to be opened. 

No arrests have been made yet.
