Cape Town - Western Cape police are still trying to locate 3-year-old Courtney Peters who went missing in Elsie's River on Thursday.

The girl was last seen on Thursday morning at the corner of Milky Way and Grand View Avenue in Salberau, a suburb in the Western Cape.

According to the Pink Ladies, an organisation for missing children, Peters was last seen at 08:00 wearing a white and yellow t-shirt with blue shorts, and walking barefoot.

She is described as having dark hair and eyes, flat ears, and a small nose. She is of medium weight and average height, and she was last seen with pigtails.

Police have asked anyone who has seen the missing child, or who might have information to contact Warrant Officer Lawrence on 079 894 0107 or Elsie's River SAPS on 021 933 0308.
