Rustenburg- SA Communist Party leader Blade Nzimande said those thinking the tripartite alliance is dead are very wrong.

“Any of us who would think the time for this alliance is up, is gambling with our revolution,” he told thousands at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the North West on Saturday.

He was delivering a message of support during the ANC's 104th anniversary celebrations in Rustenburg.

He called on the party to enjoy the day but warned against being complacent. He said they should not allow people to cause fights within the movement.

Nzimande added that the party needed to work to improve the lives of people on the ground.

“I would like to call upon the ANC and the alliance not to be distracted. We need to radically change our economy and that must remain our primary objective. We must deepen economic transformation,” he said.
