Petrol pumps could run dry in 3 days, warns union

At least 20 000 South African petroleum industry workers went on strike on Thursday, a union official said, warning that pumps at filling stations could run dry in about three days.

MH370 captain simulated Indian Ocean flight

Australian officials confirmed on Thursday that data recovered from a home flight simulator owned by the captain of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 showed that someone had used the device to plot a course to the southern Indian Ocean, where the missing jet is believed to have crashed.

The star has been posting pics to her social media of her exploring local landmarks and working hard; one of these pics just made us do a double take, because it was so hot. The South African Institute for Drug Free Sport has confirmed that an Orlando Pirates player had tested positive for cocaine in a recent routine drug test.

Man who tried to rape wife with fish can jailed

 A 35-year-old man who attempted to force a can of fish into his wife’s private parts was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in the Newcastle Regional Court.
