Cape Town - Paramedics resuscitated an unresponsive 2-year-old girl after she was pulled out of a pool at a home in Stellenridge in Cape Town on Wednesday.

The girl’s mother found her face-down in the water and paramedics were called, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

When they arrived, they found the parents performing CPR on the girl. Paramedics took over and started advanced life support interventions.

"After some time, the patient’s vital signs returned and she was transported by ER24 to Mediclinic Cape Gate."
