Johannesburg – The case against a domestic worker accused of stabbing her employer to death in her Sandton home was postponed on Friday.

Norma Mudondo appeared briefly in the Randburg Magistrate's Court, where her case was postponed to March 7 for further investigation and for the availability of her legal representative.

The Lonehill housewife was murdered on October 12.

Her 5-year-old son is believed to have spent hours with her body before his father came back home, Netwerk24 previously reported.

The child's shirt was drenched in blood. He apparently asked the woman who allegedly assaulted his mother in front of him and stabbed her to death, if she would kill him as well.

Mudondo was arrested in Florida Lake after the crime. She has been in custody since November, after being denied bail.
