2 dead as bodies flung from vehicles in 4-car collision

Johannesburg – Two men were killed and 10 others injured when a minibus taxi collided with three other vehicles in Soweto, Gauteng paramedics said on Saturday.

Paramedics found injured occupants of the vehicles spread across Dobsonville Road on Friday evening, said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

He said a man in his 20s was found trapped inside the taxi and declared dead.

Three critically injured people were given advanced life support. One of them died after 20 minutes of treatment.

Others were treated for minor to moderate injuries.

The cause of the collision was being investigated.
