Two men shot dead in Bellville

Two men were shot dead in Bellville, Cape Town, on Wednesday afternoon, Western Cape police said.

An unknown group of suspects fled Durban Road after opening fire around 13:45, and were still on the run, said Captain FC van Wyk.

The men, aged 19 and 20, had not yet been identified.

Police were investigating the motive for the murders.
