2016-06-10 09:41

Port Elizabeth - Protesters set tyres alight and blocked roads in Kamesh, Uitenhage, on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.

“I would not say it is taxi violence, but there is a protest going on,” Captain Gerda Swart said.

There had been no reports of violence.

Police were monitoring the area.
