Umhlanga FNB bomb threat a hoax – police

Durban – The FNB head office in Umhlanga was evacuated on Friday following a bomb threat, which turned out to be a hoax, KwaZulu-Natal police said. 

The bomb disposal unit was sent to the scene, Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said.

"We did receive calls about the bomb scare, but it turned out to be a hoax. Police will be investigating where this report came from.

“The public is urged not to make calls of this nature. It is a waste of police resources."
