Wednesday's weather: A fine day in SA, cloudy along coastal regions

Most of SA is expected to be fine and cool to warm on Wednesday while coastal regions are expected to experience morning fog and cloudy conditions.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the north-western parts of the Northern Cape, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your region

It will be fine and cool to warm in Gauteng. The expected UVB sunburn index will be moderate.

Mpumalanga will be fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

It will be fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld of Limpopo.

The North West is expected to be fine and warm.

It will be fine and cool, but warm in the western parts of the Free State.

The Northern Cape is expected to be partly cloudy with morning fog along the coast. Otherwise, it will be warm but cool along the coast and the extreme south. It will be hot in the northwest. The wind along the coast will be moderate.

It will be cloudy to partly cloudy and cool with morning fog and mist along the west and south coast of the Western Cape. It will become fine over the interior where it will be warm. Evening fog can be expected along the west and south-west coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.

The Eastern Cape is expected to be partly cloudy and cool. The wind along the coast will be moderate.

It will be partly cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior of KwaZulu-Natal. Otherwise, it will be fine and warm, but cool in places in the south. The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.
