ANC to build political school

2012-12-16 22:01

Bloemfontein - The ANC has secured a site to build its political school, secretary-general Gwede Mantashe said on Sunday.

"We have a farm for the political school," Mantashe said, delievering his organisational report to the party's national conference in Mangaung.

"The building has been delayed due to funding, which has always been a challenge of the ANC."

Mantashe joked with businessman Patrice Motsepe about being able to fund the building. "We don't all have a platinum mine," he said.

The African National Congress wanted to dedicate the next 10 years to the decade of the cadre.

More needed to be put into cadre development.

THOUGHT U ALREADY HAD ONE or what did Julius attend... hell u people are idiots - u even forget what you put out in media in 2011! Bafoons!!!!

      Robert Simon - 2012-12-16 22:35

what an idiotic comment, how does Malema get involved in this issue. Stop being so hooked up by one guy and comment on the issue at hand.

      lownabester - 2012-12-16 22:54

This one will have "Corruption" as the main subject. The things coming from Manguang today is like a comedy show.

      mathata.fela.7 - 2012-12-17 05:28

You are just negative because you wount be welcome in our school and will then not be deployed as cadres in nice positions. Socialism will give us economic freedom in our time and that is what they will teach us in our school. Our leaders are great thinkers.

      debduplessis - 2012-12-17 06:50

if all you remember nicely ... during ANC disciplinary hearing of Malema vs ANC - ANC sent Malema to their political school for further training! (google it if you cant remember) --- before you state I should be relevant to the topic which is totally the case, you (Robert & Co) should be absolutely sure of your "facts" before trying to state otherwise...

      squeegee.pilot - 2012-12-17 08:08

Unbelievable. A brain washing school being publicly announced. A training ground for more of what we have already. Don't we have enough idiots running things into the ground? Do we really need better trained thieves? Lying 101 will be the main subject...

      nic.nomicos.3 - 2012-12-17 11:37

@Marhata....please not now just be good and turn-off the COMPUTAH...

  • nicholas.graan - 2012-12-16 22:08

@Nicholas we all know that's not on their to-do list....

  • Daniel Nunes - 2012-12-16 22:16

This will be the best school for learning the tricks of the trade. Upon graduation, stealing, securing tenders, being corrupt and ignoring the pleas of your people will be a walk in the park, a park that was probably beautiful years ago but is now laden with drug dealers, litter and corpses.

  • ernest.lwandle - 2012-12-16 22:18

THE SUBJECTS IGUES 1How to steal by force 2. denialism 3.corruption 4.tenders etc.

  • Donkervlie - 2012-12-16 22:20

I suppose it will be the ANC version of Vlakplaas and they will use it to change peoples way of political thinking just like Camp Quatro. Some will arrive and never leave

Nice try... in two years when Zuma's got an official residence there for his new wife and the funds for the academy have run dry, i'm sure patrice'll reflect on money well spent

  • Bernard Macdonald - 2012-12-16 22:41

ANC school for what you guys are crazy not everyone is an ANC member this was gonna be meaningful if you were building a Varsity for the public this was gonna benefit the public so the school that you want to introduce who's gonna foresee all the operations of the school? im sure this is not gonna end up involving our government like Nkandla is doing now damn fraudsters!

  • lacrimose.wolf - 2012-12-16 22:49

No doubt all the textbooks will be delivered on time (all published 200yrs ago), the teachers will arrive on time and not molest the learners, that there will be sit-down, sewage-drained, flushing toilets for every 'learner' and transport to and from 'school'. Probably breakfast and lunch and a card entitling all students to freebies, tenders and absolution from every law in our country. If anyone has read about the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, this is prezactly what they are doing now. And woe-betide any who dare to criticise it. They failed with Julius Malema's 'aspirational' message, now they're resorting to ancient tactics guaranteed to create yet another organised terror akin to STASI, to be unleashed on hapless and helpless citizens.

      sheik.mohammad.378 - 2012-12-17 01:49

Bet they'll be taught how to fill in Tender forms, how to slip in a bribe or two, and how not to be caught for corruption and presidency hopefuls will be taught how to read drawings.

The concept of professional revolutionaries, alternatively called cadre, is in origin a Leninist concept used to describe a body of devoted communists who spend the majority of their time organising their party toward a mass revolutionary party capable of leading a workers' revolution. .. Is the ANC farming with commies or is it visa versa.

  • gcj.wood - 2012-12-16 23:41

How about just building schools, like you should of done 18 years ago! Chops!

ANC the pass mark will be set at 30% or lower so that they would have properly qualified people for president. Slate boards will have to be issued if they plan to teach the A 'n C of the corrupted alphabet.........knowing the books will be late.

  • sue.r.byronmoore - 2012-12-17 07:19

Jokes aside - and this has to be treated as a joke, no schooling required for lying, stealing and corruption - surely it would be of much more benefit to the country to re-open nursing colleges and teachers training colleges. Now that's basic and essential education - are you listening Angie????

  • bill.mckimm.9 - 2012-12-17 07:45! The ANC cannot even build a political school. What hope for building the nation. Incidently,Gwede, Patice does own a platinum mine which is going out of business because of what you allowed to happen at Marakana. Think he will, or can, help? It is sad how little contact the leadership of thew ANC has with economic realities. Viva the ANC Viva ignorance. God help this country.

  • lhensby - 2012-12-17 08:00

What will this school teach them how not to get caught with their fat fingers in the till or how to lie to the rest of the country with a straight face or maybe how after having unprotected sex to have a nice hot shower and you won't get HIV! Long live corrupt SA!
