Malema: I did nothing wrong

2012-03-01 07:27

Johannesburg - Embattled ANC youth leader Julius Malema has warned that his expulsion is "not the end of the road", according to a report on Thursday.

"We must accept that this is the decision, but that is not the end of the road," he said, according to SABC radio news.

"It is still early to celebrate because the road ahead of us is going to be very long and needs men and women... who are very strong.

"If you are weak, you are going to fall in the process," said Malema.

"I'm not a soldier who is prepared to fall in the battle, I will die with my boots on, I will die for what I believe in."

Malema said he had not done anything wrong.

"I did not steal from anybody... I did not kill anybody," he said.

      Gustav - 2012-03-01 09:48

poloyatonki... fool nothing belongs to you, the only way land can belong to you is when you buy it and you didnt. DO you think i can just go to england and make absurd land claims?? This land situation is the biggest joke ever, what are you gona do when you get a piece of land? huh clown? do you have any idea what a difficult job farming is? no probably not... you will probably destroy the farm equipment, ruin the vertile soil etc and so the list goes on and be4 you know it you will be sitting on ur @ss again and demanding something else.

      Bardy - 2012-03-01 09:56

@ Gustav - I want I want I want! Ineptocracy is what you call it!

      Edward - 2012-03-01 09:57

@poliodonkey. the land was never yours. you were not here first. if you have any integrity you will admit that the land belonged to the san people (bushmen). you came later and took it from them. we came and took it from you. fact of life! wake up and smell dead yu-yu's smelly boots.

      richard.hipkin - 2012-03-01 10:08

This statement of Julius is indicative of the general youth mentality out there. They burn, destroy, loot and riot their grievances and then turn round and claim they not doing anything wrong... Well, we know where they get that mentality from don't we!

      Gustav - 2012-03-01 10:27

bardy, cool thanks. firts time i see that word..."like" *_Ineptocracy_****(in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers*

      Christopher - 2012-03-01 11:39

"I did not steal from anybody"...what???? You have stolen tax payers money in your fraudulent business deals with the municipality of Limpopo you idiot.Did you forget about that?

      thozi - 2012-03-01 15:24

  • TheSkepticDetective - 2012-03-01 07:32

    You are delusional, Julius.

  • stuart.steedman - 2012-03-01 07:32

Crime goes beyond stealing and murder boykie. That being said, his pillaging of resources and funds through tenders in his home province definitely counts as stealing in my books.

      Sean - 2012-03-01 09:32

While sewing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old farmer, who's hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to the ANC and Julius Malema. The old farmer said, 'Well, you know, in my opinion, Malema is a 'Post Turtle''. Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him, what a 'post turtle' was. The old farmer said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'. The old farmer saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain…… 'You know he didn't get up there by himself, He doesn't belong up there, He doesn't know what to do while he's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb-f### put him up there to begin with, and now he has to face the music... all alone!

      Garth - 2012-03-01 10:09

Well said Sean - I have shared this truth.

  • Michael - 2012-03-01 07:33

Julius can you not see what you have done singing about killing your own countrymen what you have cost the economy , grow up and enter politics properly don't use the youth to forward your political career . Cast aside your military clothes and put on a suite and build the country , thats what south africa needs , the new struggle is to build the country not break it down.

      TBlogger - 2012-03-01 08:08

You could not have said it better @MichaelKleber!!!

      Bhubesi - 2012-03-01 08:24

The downfall of a politician always sums up all his actions as flaws, I for one still believe there was nothing wrong with the chanting of an old struggle song, there was nothing wrong with raising issues on behalf of the youth even if the methods were sometimes extreme. But there is absolutely something wrong with playing political puppetry within your movement which is what we are suspending him for, and definately something wrong with corruption which is a disease that plagues all political parties in South Africa today. I think we need to see things for what they are if we are to move on as a united society. Juju is a success story gone terribly wrong....

      John - 2012-03-01 08:45

@Bhubesi I may not see anything wrong with calling people what is now political correct to call the "K-word", but that doesn't make it right.... "Juju" is like Hitler, and ET. They have the power of speech where he can evoke strong emotional reaction within certain groups or mentalities, but that doesn't make them right. Talk is cheap. You want 'economic freedom', nationalization, land seizures... thats fine, but tell us how it will be done, show us the figures. Because we all look north and see what it has done to the rest of Africa. Talk is cheep.

      John - 2012-03-01 08:47

"cheap".. for the pedantic spelling teachers on here...

      Marete - 2012-03-01 13:47

Mr. Kleber, i wish everyone can comment like you and stop the hate speeches. let us all build the country.

  • Lekke - 2012-03-01 07:33

Malema. Shutt up for once and all. Your own ppl kicked you into touch. Watch out for us. You are right about the boots , you will.

  • The-third - 2012-03-01 07:34

Oh.. and you stole from the public. Those tenders will come back to haunt you.

  • mark.booysen - 2012-03-01 07:35

Julias! Here is a roll of toilet paper bud, please wipe your mouth.!

      Angus - 2012-03-01 07:41

I think Juju needs one of those industrial sized rolls of toilet paper that have about 200m on the roll, cause he's even gone past the point where he just opens his mouth to change gear. He lies sooo much that he even believes the cr@p he talks, like not being a thief when he stole tenders AND awarded tenders through connections, built bridges and other structures that collapsed(perhaps if someone died on the bridge he could be charged with murder), incited the masses to violence based solely on ideology(heck, one could fill a novel with his crimes) The main issue, that he has highlighted just HOW stupid the masses in SA actually are. To even consider a turd like this a "leader" is absurd.

      TJ - 2012-03-01 08:43

I think his butt is getting jealous about all the cr@p that comes out of his mouth!!!

  • Elle-Black - 2012-03-01 07:35

"I'm not a soldier who is prepared to fall in the battle, I will die with my boots on, I will die for what I believe in." If only someone could give him his death wish.

      Elle-Black - 2012-03-01 08:04

@ Mphateleni you're right you dont need to do a racial check on me coz, you know for a fact that it's not all black people that like Malema in fact I personally dont know anybody who does.

      TBlogger - 2012-03-01 08:11

not just every white person's wish @Mphatheleni Ernest Matidze, try every sane, mentally stable person who has the common sense to tell that this man is nothing but an attention seeking, money hungry wannabe politician who doesn't care about his so-called people!!!!!!!!!!

      Robyn - 2012-03-01 08:58

@Mpatheleni - and no need to do a racial check on you either; you're blinded if you think what he is doing will ever be good for our country

      richard.hipkin - 2012-03-01 09:35

Don't stress Mphatheleni, no need to excuse your racism..

      TheSkepticDetective - 2012-03-01 10:02

@Mphatheleni, you are wrong. I do not want him to die. I want him to be held accountable for his actions. I want people in leadership positions who are committed to improving what we have built so far in SA. I want leaders who inspire through humility and action, not through hatred and rhetoric. How would you weigh up if we did a "racial check" on you?

      makesuthink - 2012-03-01 10:22

@ Elle-Black He says that he is not asoldier who is prepared to fall in battle but will die with his boots on First any proper soldier goes into battle knowing that the only way he will fall is hif he is killed and about going to die with his boots on is beacuse Poliodnokey has not taken the boots off of clowns feet

      Sinudeity - 2012-03-01 11:18

You don't know anybody who like Malema?Either you are dumb or ignorant,I bought his T-Shirt,whenever he is to address people he attracts crowds.

      Marete - 2012-03-01 13:49

bra we like him, and anc is just deceiving you white folks

  • frans.grobler3 - 2012-03-01 07:36

Bye Bye love.... ( no Malema) hello happiness and think I’ am going drink a bells

      Serame - 2012-03-01 08:07

Not so fast Frans..This case is going to drag longer than you think...He's allowed to appeal this decision within the next 14days..which he will and we'll all be back to the drawing board..and there is a chance that the whole process maybe reviewed..and blahh blahh blahh..Julius is going to mangaung..and if Zuma gets toppled in mangaung, which he prbly will...Julius maybe back in full force..but if Zuma gets his way..then Malema's suspension may stand..but he can also go the court route...

  • Fred - 2012-03-01 07:37

You incite racism, hatred and violence in our country. Nothing to be proud of. It is wrong.

  • braamc - 2012-03-01 07:41

  • Leon - 2012-03-01 07:41

Yes Julius 2weeks Malema, you did nothing wrong!

  • Garth - 2012-03-01 07:42

All those in a state of exultation at the `expelling' of this clown from the useless, worthless anc are ejaculating prematurely. You did not read the anc fine-print! Like all of their miscreants, that are brought before their disciplinary processes, in a public show of `we are the good guys', this fool will be back singing `shoot the farmer' before one can say `wool over your eyes'. Do not trust the useless, worthless, thieving, racist anc! And, this `tender' thief has the brazen temerity to state: `"I did not steal from anybody... I did not kill anybody," he said.' And, what is it to the normal, educated, honest, upstanding member of the SA public whether this waste of oxygen is part of the useless, worthless anc anyway? He should remain an integral part of that criminal organisation because he typifies it; the thieving, racist, amoral glutton is their poster boy.

      Eric - 2012-03-01 07:56

So Garth. I have to ask if you drink and then drive. I belong to the ANC and I do not see myself as what is in your writeup. Maybe you should go into the background of Julius and learn. There are many more like him that were child foot soldiers that was ready to fight the racist np government. So, he id knocked now but far from out. And by the way he does have a grade 12 and studying for a degree.

      MSGRule - 2012-03-01 08:13

@Eric - Good for you support your anc, you will never gain from it in any way.

      Mike - 2012-03-01 08:23

@eric - juju does not have a matric - he has std 3 with wood working "h" level - same as Zuma - std 3 - juju can never study - what degree is he studying - to bloody stupid - the agent. Good ridiance to bad rubbish the "a" hole

      Trudy - 2012-03-01 08:35

@Garth! Yay! Finally someone who sees the situation properly. This whole thing is a farce. They had to appear to do something to "fix" the situation with Malema or it would look like they condone it (which they bloody well do!) For how long did Malema continue his antics before he was supposedly brought to book? They do not care a damn for anyone in this country but themselves and their ill-gotten means. WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF IT WAS A QUIET WARNING FROM THEIR CHINESE OWNERS THAT FINALLY SPURRED THEM INTO ACTION.

      Trevor - 2012-03-01 08:51

@Eric, a degree...if you swallow that rubbish then it's pointless even argueing with you...LMAO

      Garth - 2012-03-01 09:03

@Trudy - thanks and scroll down to Duncan's comment, which is also stated with eyes wide open.

      Sibu - 2012-03-01 09:32

@Mike, seems to me you didn't make it past std3 either, my 10yr old writes better damn!!!

  • Jim - 2012-03-01 07:45

Julius is universally hated, by black, white, everybody, hes a piece of uneducated trash, and was ruining this country's reputation. He needs to disappear forever, and be remembered as the idiot of the ANC

  • pws69 - 2012-03-01 07:45

That's his story and he is sticking to it. I personally think that one of the big investment houses should employ him. Anyone who can build a R16 million house, bond free, on a declared R20,000 a month salary (before deductions) MUST be a financial genius.

      leemalin.moodley - 2012-03-01 12:39

      trix.duvenage - 2012-03-01 16:42

fanacial genius my ass. All he has is a lot of pals with brains. JUlius has nothing between his ears. If he had anything there he would have realised that to be a youth leader is the MOST reponsible position in ANY COUNTRY in the world. He was handling the CREAM namely the youth and he made a ballsup. If Julius went about this responsibilty with care and with brains, he could have become a greater Icon that Mandella. He could have turned the future of this country around in a positive manner and he f****ek it all up. No my friend..... he is no genius. Maybe a GENE-ARSE......

      Heiku - 2012-03-01 13:26

Kgomotso you just faced the full wrath of racism. You make a sensible comment based purely on facts and people think you are supporting Malema because you are black.

  • Dickson - 2012-03-01 07:48

Malema is like a dog that gets beaten every time he comes "home". It’s pathetic. Get a job.

      Linda - 2012-03-01 08:04

How can he get a job. He is ignorant, uneducated and has no idea of what is right and wrong - so who would want to hire him?

  • Eric - 2012-03-01 07:48

This whole episode will make Julius stronger. Right now he has been expelled(From a voluntary organisation ANC) for going up against the rules and constitution of the ANC.In a few years time he can again be a member with all the rights. He has now been taught right from wrong. Nobody is going to stop this leader of people as can be seen recently at the mines rally. Julius is going to become bigger and stronger. Watch this space.

      Mzeen - 2012-03-01 07:55

hhawu Eric i think u are also delusional R5000 people. The man has no mass base makes noise at times raise valid points. Should he be wise must serve his term come backer sharper and wiser. Pity it will be difficult for him cos his Seniors Gigaba,Mthethwa,Mbalula will be in charge then.

      Eric - 2012-03-01 08:19

@Mzeen. His seniors then will be previous ANC youth leaders that are already in position. And I agree that he must serve his term. That is why I said in not that many words that he has been disciplined and he will be back

      Thandi - 2012-03-01 08:22

      Nigel - 2012-03-01 09:17

I dont underestimate this delusional thief, he is dangerous & cunning, but he is also ignorant, arrogant & greedy, he has made mistakes & will make many more, he represents the rotten thugs that want to take over power & then the resources like Mugabe, their aim is to rape the country & get rich. The ANC is finally waking up to the reality that confronts them, take action & retain control (at the expense of losing votes) or do nothing & lose control & power to the co-conspiratos who will turn SA into another Zim.

      Coena - 2012-03-01 10:07

@eric I agree with you that he will be a anc member again in a few years...but what I do not agree with you is that he is a leader....and if he does become president of the anc in the future ( wich I am not saying he will ) South Africa will follow in the footsteps of other African nations that was ruled by ignorant hateful & stupid men

  • Andrew - 2012-03-01 07:49

Quote "I did nothing wrong" How about claiming whites stole their land and it must be taken back without recompense. How about nationalization of mines without paying for them. How about singing "Shoot the boer" All this and more helped this country lose foreign investment which would have helped in job creation. Not to mention incitement and racial disharmony, maybe in your eyes this was not wrong but to many people without jobs and families who suffered from your utterances think differently.

For once I agree with you. The premature exultation of the whites, in particular, in response to this article is disheartening. Has no-one, in 18 years, learnt anything about the useless, worthless anc. Has everyone forgotten about the political infighting that has culminated in this peak, only for the protagonists to view an even higher peak behind this one. `The bear climbed over the mountain, the bear climbed over the mountain, the bear climbed over the mountain, and what do you think he saw? He saw another mountain, He saw . . .' Know thine enemy.

If ever there is a candidate for a Nobel Prize for arrogance it is Malema. Even in defeat he still shows no remorse for his actions.

  • Victor - 2012-03-01 08:07

Soldier??? You don't know anything about being a soldier. One shot, and u run like crazy.

  • Serame - 2012-03-01 08:08

Not so fast Guys..u must still hold your breaths..This case is going to drag longer than you think...He's allowed to appeal this decision within the next 14days..which he will and we'll all be back to the drawing board..and there is a chance that the whole process maybe reviewed..and blahh blahh blahh..Julius is going to mangaung..and if Zuma gets toppled in mangaung, which he prbly will...Julius maybe back in full force..but if Zuma gets his way..then Malema's suspension may stand..but he can also go the court route...

      Ben - 2012-03-01 09:23

But he still has a few financial questions to answer before Mangaung, which means he may not be available. He might be going the court route agaist his will.

      Nigel - 2012-03-01 09:45

yea maybe, but 2 things you are overlooking, 1) SARS & hawks have an obligation to investigate him & if there is any dirt, they will find it, then there are criminal charges, 2) Vavi is not a fan of Zuma but Malema is a direct threat to Vavi & Vavi represents COSATU, COSATU has the power to influence Mangaung with their 2 million members vs the YL's 2000, if Cosatu decides Zuma must go, then he probably will, Malemas fate rests in who, if anyone will replace Zuma. That why Malema addressed the Impats crowed, to try & push Vavi aside & get NUM's sympathy, it will turn out to be a fight between JM & Vavi for the battle for Coastu, I think Vavi will win.

  • Janine Funtasia Maphunye - 2012-03-01 08:09

This story is really getting boring. Can Malema just take the punishment like a mature adult? Oh wait his not one, since he throws his toys out the cot and threatens EVERYBODY.

  • Jacqui - 2012-03-01 08:10

Malema has been waiting for this moment. In his eyes, he is now a true revolutionary! He has been expelled from his own party, for his beliefs which will save the people. He sees himself as a martyre. Any punishment he receives for things "wrongly done" (in his eyes they are not wrong...), he will see as confirmation of his martyredom. He will continue his soldiering....

      Sharon - 2012-03-01 08:42

malema should become a suicide bomber asap

  • Bhubesi - 2012-03-01 08:10

      Piet - 2012-03-01 08:13

Same thing all ANC supporters are smoking! A angel like substance that ensures that you are never at fault....

  • Piet - 2012-03-01 08:11

  • Dennis - 2012-03-01 08:12

  • Phumla Dingani - 2012-03-01 08:15

He meant to say, he did nothing right.

  • Tony - 2012-03-01 08:15

I agree. You made a fool of yourself.. In impeccable style I might add. You pi$$ed everyone off, perfectly I might add, and you get 100% for idiocracy. The only thing that you may have got wrong is the fact that you are a GOOD member of the opposition rather than the ANC,

  • Johan - 2012-03-01 08:18

All you did was to say you are going to overthrow the Botswana government. Idiot!

  • Andre - 2012-03-01 08:18

  • Sagren - 2012-03-01 08:18

In the ANC, one can be corrupt, be a murderer or be a rapist, but if you go against the leadership, you get expelled.

  • Ivan - 2012-03-01 08:18

Malema get over yourself! You are a nothing. Why is it that Africa leaders cannot accept defeat, take responsibility for their actions nor that they can be wrong - one of the reasons why Africa is such a mess!
