Mpumalanga delegates sing for Zuma

2012-11-29 14:28

Middelburg - ANC delegates sang and chanted in support of President Jacob Zuma on Thursday at the Steve Tshwete municipality's banquet hall in Middelburg.

Mpumalanga is holding its conference to nominate candidates for the African National Congress elective conference in Mangaung next month.

A total of 469 delegates from across the province, which is a Zuma stronghold, attended and were clad in party colours and T-shirts.

They belted out pro-Zuma songs, with two fingers in the air, indicating their support for a second term for Zuma.

They sang "... si hamba no Zuma thina, a sina mehloni... (we are going with Zuma, we are not embarrassed)" and "u ya khala uJuju, u ya tetemela, mnigeni idummy... (Juju is crying, he's shivering, give him a dummy)".

Premier and party provincial chairperson David Mabuza was expected to open the conference.

A bankrupt provinces answer, so that they can stay in office another term to fill THEIR OWN coffers. We need a change, hopefully someone with integrity, education and humbleness - to guide the country into the future maybe even for 4 terms to fix up that what has been destroyed.

      lacrimose.wolf - 2012-11-29 22:32

Soon they will be singing for their supper whilst JZ and his merry band of thieves leads them another 5 years of song and dance.

ndoda.madela - 2012-11-29 17:22 think we dont that you people you are being by da write nagitive comment about if you like can go back from where you come from or go n f your mama behind n hellen.anc will rule until jesus comes back you better get used it.ashole

      jacob.zoomer.9 - 2012-11-29 18:31

Ndoda - Huh? What are you saying, madam? The first part of you comment I can't really understand (you seemed to have left out a few words there). Anyway, the gist of it is that you hate me cause my skin is paler than yours and that your people were oppressed by mine, which stopped 20 years ago. Understand this, I was 10 when the ANC came into power. I had no control over what certain people did during the bad 'straggal' years. I barely understood what was going on next to me, much less politics at that time. As bad as it was, it's time you get over it. Should I now be punished because of what happened 20 years ago? Do the sins of the father get passed down to the son now? For a Christian lady (referring here to the Jesus comment), you have some very hypocritical and hateful comments. I pity you as I am trying to make something of myself in this country, while you are purely focusing on the hate... It's going to eat you up inside. Be careful.

  • darryl.maze1 - 2012-11-29 15:13

And the brainless idiot follow. yes vot e for your Zuma agai. let him steal more money from the poor. Let him run the country further into the ground. What do we have to do to wake you idiots up???? Why do you keep voting knowing you not gonna get anything once he's in power again. But guess you all just prefer your free T-shirts, half loaf bread and cup of soup.

      Manduleli Rotherham Mtyoki - 2012-11-29 15:34

Darryl what do u want our ppl to vote for? Whether the vote JZ or KG its our choice, its our ANC and it will rule until u die. If u r not sure, ask ur grandmother or ask ur ancestors. and stop your racist attitude it stinks!

      darryl.maze1 - 2012-11-29 15:41

What racist attitude???? You know what stick with your corrupt ANC, let your children suffer un der there rule I really dont care. All I can say is dont go crying to the west or europe for food aid when your all starving. U obviously have your hands in the gravy train and thats why you will keep voting for your corrupt ANC.

      markblack10 - 2012-11-29 15:42

44million people can't just pack and leave. Also where are we supposed to get the money from to pack up and leave. The country does not get paid as much as ANC delegates. Stop thinking about your own interests and think about the interests of South African people.

      terence.pattison - 2012-11-29 15:54

By the standard of what you have written you are obviously the product of the current (failed) education system. Where is this place Austriala?

And you can't even spell Australia, and noggal no dot next to the eg word. lol - damn - howd we go from intellectuals like Jan Smuts who was in the war cabinet who assisted in defeating Hitler to people like you who determine the future of this beautiful land????????????????????
