Northern Cape ANC to meet on nominations

2012-10-09 13:27

Bloemfontein - ANC branches in the Northern Cape would start deciding on Mangaung leadership nominations this weekend, a spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Northern Cape ANC spokesperson Gail Parker said the province would only announce its stand on leadership positions after the branches had made their nominations.

“We would not like to pre-empt the decisions of branches.”
Parker said the provincial leadership would try to maintain unity and cohesion in the ANC in the province.

“We would ask branches not to compromise unity within the Northern Cape ANC when making decisions on leadership nominations.”

She said branches would look at where leadership changes were needed, but would otherwise keep leaders in places for continuity.

Parker said the province would consider making a provincial announcement after all the branch meetings.

Its time for CHANGE My Fellow Comrades of Northern Cape. This president of ours did nothing for South African Citizens, but he enriched himself, family and his KZN province.
