Pretoria woman's throat slit

Johannesburg - A woman was found with her throat slit in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria, on Tuesday, said Gauteng police.

According to neighbours the 45-year-old woman had a fight with her boyfriend on Monday night, said Warrant Officer Llifi Ramatlo.

Her body was found about two metres away from a block of RDP houses.

The boyfriend's body was found about two hours later hanging in a house, which had been vandalised, said Ramatlo.

It was believed that he had committed suicide.

Police were investigating a case of murder and an inquest docket had been opened.

    I am always wondering if the death penalty is really a good thing, because it has happened that innocent people died, but in my opninion the death penalty is the only thing that can stop the mass murdering in this country. I am sure if people knew that they will get the death penalty, they might think twice about these ease butchering of people.
