2012-11-03 16:05

Johannesburg - Members of the South African Democratic Teachers Union (Sadtu) have marched in Pietermaritzburg in support of a second term for President Jacob Zuma, the SABC reported on Saturday.

At least 500 members wearing red and black Sadtu colours and carrying placards were marching to the KwaZulu-Natal legislature.

The marchers would hand over a memorandum to the head of the education department, Nkosinathi Sishi.

Simple, because we do not know how to teach but dancing and saying "I demand" is the only thing you know how to do well. Simple idiots......I think the kids can teach you lot of wasters better.

  • peter.mokoena.31 - 2012-11-03 16:46

  • carl.h.witte - 2012-11-03 16:49

Children weep, children starve, children are abused, children are not given an education, children are beaten and raped at school...the anc teachers march in support of zuma who is responsible for this(the buck stops here?) even though they are paid a pittance....they are teachers...why....how?

  • sbusiso.dlamini.79 - 2012-11-03 16:54

I drive a taxi and make 500 a week but I promise you that even if anyone pays for me to march, I would never stood that low and advance the agenda of a man who has lost his mind and wants to drag the country along, if mr zuma is so transparent, honest man, nothing to hide, want to silence any uninformed journalist, allow the da to inspect your home and the devlopments around, anyway these are my words, typed by myself, felt by myself, unlike your speeches written for you, not even your thoughts, please mr zuma we have enough of youm

  • muke.matshaba - 2012-11-03 16:58

  • ken.grimblegrumble - 2012-11-03 17:04

SADTU is a political body they have nothing to do with teaching. SADTU is actually anti education. SADTU supports poverty and obviously despise youth.

We need to put something on record ANC members do not march to hand over memorundum when they want a leader to be elected as their president they nominate at their BGMs and elect in the National Conference, those Sadtu members marching in KZN ar not ANC members they ar followers of Zuma and Nxesi, i want to repeat those ar not ANC members but Zuma and Thulas followers bcoze ANC members know the internal processes of our movement and they also know Luthuli House if they want to forward any matter with regard to the movement, members of the public those Sadtu members marching ar not from the ranks of our movement period.
