Twitter speculation on Malema's job prospects

2012-03-12 16:01

Durban - Some in the political hierarchy may be quietly rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of an ANC without its former youth league leader Julius Malema to rock the boat, while others are speculating on his future.

That speculation has hit the social networks and on Twitter, the debate has been tweeting furiously on the subject of "#JobsForJuju".

One tweeter who calls himself Julius Malema, contributed to the debate saying that he could sell Tupperware or become a rep for a beauty products company.

There were a number of tweeters who suggest Juju could take a place in the Orlando Pirates soccer team. Exactly who he was expected to replace in the side was not revealed.

Ogaufi Ikaneng suggested that "we cud parachute him into the presidency of Botswana".

Another suggested that he could "sell matric certificate with woodwork " while Eugenia Masindi reckoned he would make a great marshal at a taxi rank.

Virgin Active gyms were brought into the debate with a suggestion he could become "the face of Virgin Active encouraging a healthy lifestyle in dealing with racist gym members".

And lastly there was the tweeter who wanted to save on Scooters Pizza fuel costs suggesting Julius could ride a donkey to deliver pizzas.

He can come work in my garden for all I care!

      Larry - 2012-03-12 16:08

I would not let him loose in my garden. Every plant he destroyed would come with the excuse that it was either capitalist or Racist.

      procold2 - 2012-03-12 16:12

He will steal your underpants, should stand at the robot with a board no money no friends or better as a clown at brians circus he has given me a laugh over the past few months

      Max - 2012-03-12 16:32

Julius is going to be welcomed back in the ANC with open arms. Any person speculating on his future without the ANC is day dreaming.

      Patrick - 2012-03-12 16:36

How about a: "MOER GESIG" at an amusement park. You pay R100.00 to give him a good "klap".

      Gerhard Grobler - 2012-03-12 16:55

@Patrick- You could easily charge people a R1000 per PK, but the cahiers might have to rotate 24 hour shifts because this event will be very busy!!!

      Xavier7034 - 2012-03-12 17:39

At Leeukop Prison Facility at Lone Hill, North of Jhb, there is a very pleasant place for "Young Offenders" - it is very like the German 2nd World War Concentration camps, with high barbed wire, and indoctrination "classes" where one could be sure our Julius would be a star inmate.....but then again, is he not too old to be considered as but a callow youth.....ANCYL is a misnomer surely? But then, could our dear young man be rehabilitated? Or is he beyond redemption......too good for his own good....?

      DuToitCoetzee - 2012-03-12 17:19

  • Tony Lapson - 2012-03-12 16:43

Please, News24, post the authors names on each article so we can see if there is a specific person who writes every little bit of drivel on This is getting rediculous.

The racist comments directed at Malema& Anc only motivate us to be more symphathetic towards him. How the Mighty DA have fallen with corruption scandals lately. What happened to its holier than thou attitudes. Told you...they steal in a sophisticated way. More is still the space!!!

      Ben - 2012-03-12 16:57

      Carlton Bana - 2012-03-12 17:17

Vote DA dont vote makes no difference the ANC wont govern SA post 2019. A warning to Julius, he mustn't drop the soap.

      Gerhard Grobler - 2012-03-12 17:19

@Louisatjie- Why is it that only a small ignorant minority supports Malema? Please help me, how do you segment the followers Malema has? See a common denominator? You dont have to answer these questions here, even though it might be funny if you do.. How many schools did he help build? In what way did he encourage or help the youth of SA to get educated and to live up to moral standards and high values? No, he rather gets on the old band wagon and "mobilise" the uneducated because he is good with speaking and brainwashing them through repeating the same things. He is not someone who will take this country forward, he will only milk our beloved SA for all that he can get while all of you still believe what he says. I dont support politics, no DA, ANC or whatever, but I do believe in values and morals. We have all the talent needed to make SA the best country in the world, regardless of their political party, race or gender. But unfortunately we need a true leader, a respectable man who people can look up to. And he also needs to be an academically educated man. Not this windball JUJU my dear Louisa!!! Let him build his own farm up from the ground and farm it succesfully for at least ten years then he can mention stuff like land expropriation!!! And may all corrupt people from both the ANC and the DA be brought to justice and taken out of the system.

      Steve - 2012-03-12 18:24

If it is true Louisa then you have hit the nail on the head, at least they have the brain to be sophisticated, unlike most of the idiots in power

  • Xenon1 - 2012-03-12 16:49

This piece of space(kriekie) debris has demonstrated that he can't do an honest day's work except for spitting vitriol at crowds of brain-dead supporters. Give him a cabbage patch in some corner of Limpopo province and chain him to a post so he can stay there. Stale piece of sh#t.

  • Brett - 2012-03-12 16:49

Goal keeper for Banana Banana. Once he is wedged between the posts there wouldnt be room for the ball to get in.

      John - 2012-03-13 06:44

I think you need a break to go learn, then just maybe you will be an educated part of society.

  • Collen Masetla - 2012-03-13 06:55

Well, let me say it again, this article remains a fantastic piece of NONESENSE.\r\n\r\nBy the way i'm happy for the boy because he is rich, politically intelligent because he answers questions even better than your top politicians you may know.\r\n\r\nThe boy was wise to get into business, still attracts scores of people, but ANC people, wherever he goes. That shows mistake ANC might have made...the boy has a farm. The boy is wise and richer than insults directed at him.\r\n\r\n\r\nKEEP IT UP JUJU, ONCE MY PRESIDENT ALWAYS MY PRESIDENT. WE WILL RECLAIM THIS ANC COME THE RIGHT TIME.

  • Matome Reginald Sabbath - 2012-03-13 09:47
