Keita and Pepe row rages on

Cape Town - Two international stars are embroiled in a racism row after the pair almost came to blows in a pre-season friendly match between Roma and Real Madrid.

Keita refused to shake Pepe's hand during the customary pre-game handshakes.

Keita accused Pepe of calling him a monkey during a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in 2011.

Pepe did not react to Keita's handshake snub at the time but moments later Keita threw a water bottle at Pepe after Pepe is allegedly to have spat at Keita.

Roma won the "friendly" 1-0 with a goal from veteran Francesco Totti.
