Real warned over Falcao

Cape Town - Real Madrid will have to launch another mega-money bid if they want to add Monaco's Falcao as their latest "Galactico".

The Daily Mail report that Monaco's manager Jardim has told Real Madrid that Colombian striker Falcao is not for sale.

After returning from the injury that ruled him out of the Soccer World Cup, Falcao was on target as Monaco drew 2-2 against Valencia on Saturday.

'It's a pity we lost James [Rodriguez] but we can count on Falcao staying. Regardless of what people say, he's our player. 'He's in the final stages of his recovery and he'll be with us this season.'

'At this point Falcao is our player and he's with us 100 per cent and we don't want to let him go,' Jardim said.

Falcao made a €60 million move from Atletico Madrid to Monaco in 2013.

Falcao was a prolific goal scorer in Spain where he netted 71 times in 90 appearances.
