Blitzboks win World Series, advance to Paris final

Cape Town - A dominant display by the Blitzboks saw them cruise into the final of the Paris Sevens by downing New Zealand in a semi-final encounter.

The Blitzboks will be crowned the World Rugby Sevens Series champions for the 2016/17 season following England's loss to Scotland (19-17) in the Cup semi-final.

Whatever happens now, the Blitzboks cannot be overtaken at the top of the standings and they will win their first title since the 2008/09 season.
