Ndoro linked with Urban Warriors - report

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town are set to swoop for Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro, who last played for Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership.

Ndoro departed the Buccaneers ahead of the current season for Saudi Arabian outfit Al Faisaly.

But according to reports from South Africa and Zimbabwe, the 32-year-old could be heading back to the PSL and has recently been spotted in Cape Town.

Should Ndoro join Ajax, he would be reunited with head coach Muhsin Ertugral for a third time, the pair having previously worked together at Mpumalanga Black Aces and Pirates.

Ertugral arrived back at the Urban Warriors last week for his fourth stint at the club, following the sacking of Stanley Menzo.

The Cape side are likely to part ways with striker Prince Nxumalo, who failed to report for training in the last few weeks before Christmas.

Nxumalo has been linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ajax, second from bottom on the table, have also been linked with SuperSport United forward Fagrie Lakay and Sundowns winger Mogakolodi Ngele.
