Watch University of Pretoria (UP) students gathered outside court to support 24 of their peers appearing on charges of public violence. Students marched from the university to court to support those appearing. They sang and danced in the street chanting, "Away with Afrikaans." Dozens of students were arrested on Friday, 19 February following clashes on campus. Last year UP saw demonstrations over the institution's language policy. In this video, SASCO Task Team member in Gauteng Junior Ackotia says, "The African has many struggles to go through on campus." The case was postponed.
