Zimbabwe Energy Minister Fortune Chasi says the country is looking to incorporate alternative energy sources for its Integrated Resources Plan, amid climate change challenges impacting its hydropower plant.
Zimbabwe's energy minister Fortune Chasi was on Tuesday forced to put the proof of the country's US$10m (R139m) payment to Eskom on his twitter account, after an earlier claim of having paid was refuted.
Eskom has issued a statement confirming that payment from Zimbabwe regarding outstanding debt is reflecting in the power utility's account.
