The families of Canadians killed in the Ethiopian Airlines crash last month have launched a lawsuit against plane maker Boeing.
Boeing will brief more than 200 global airline pilots, technical experts and regulators this week on software and training updates for its 737 MAX aircraft, as Ethiopian Airlines expressed confidence in the planemaker despite a recent crash.
Boeing, Ethiopian Airlines and aircraft-part maker Rosemount Aerospace have been sued in the US over a plane crash last month that killed 157 people and intensified concern about the safety of 737 Max passenger jets.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the US Department of Transportation is investigating the Federal Aviation Administration's approval of Boeing Co's 737 MAX jetliners. News of the probe comes in the wake of the Ethiopian Airlines crash last week.
