Cape Town makes Hatebreaks' worst holiday list

2014-05-13 09:16
Cape Town - It's no secret Cape Town is the darling of South Africa's tourism industry. While JHB is giving the Cape a run for its money when it comes to reinvented, gritty charm -  Cape Town continues to earn its spot in must-visit lists across the connected world.

But on this particular Hatebreaks' list, it's the Cape's notorious Cape Flats that has come under the spotlight. The list is based on a combination of factors – including crime rates, poverty in the area and the general level of cleanliness.

Included in the mix is Colombia's Bogota and Golyanovo, a district in Moscow Russia. You have to love the notorious listings detailed for each, as it highlights the importance of being a savvy, safe traveller - in other words - don't shy away from the obvious attractions of these countries but do keep a check on safety.

Take a look at the list of ten below.
