City Hall Sessions

2013-06-19 15:11
When: 06 July 2013
Where: Cape Town City Hall

The opening act will be none other than the songstress who broke onto the scene when she featured in dancefloor collaborations produced by Black Coffee and DJ Kent, after which she embarked on a solo career, she is the Lesotho-born songstress Maleh (Malehloka Hlalele), making her debut Cape Town appearance with a five-piece band.

Both of the featured artists were acknowledged at last month’s 19th annual MTN South African Music Awards (SAMAs): Ray Chikapa Phiri was honoured with a Lifetime Achiever Award, whilst the relative newcomer Maleh won the “Best African Adult Album” category for her solo album “Step Child”.

City Hall Sessions is fundamentally driven by the sheer pleasure of music, the best quality music, shared by all.
